Eddie Murphy is the father... like there was ever any doubt. The Dreamgirls star went in for a paternity test a couple of weeks ago now and results were confirmed just yesterday. Former Spice Girl, Mel(anie) B(rown) had insisted from the beginning of this shameful saga that Eddie Murphy was the father of her daughter Angels Iris.

Murphy, has done nothing but make an ass of himself! Just now he's laying very very low. No doubt he's not a happy camper!
After denying the paternity of the child (unborn at the time) on TV no less and breaking up with Mel B via talk show he had stated that he would be willing to take a paternity test to clear the whole issue up. His stance of denial might have looked a little bit more convincing if it had not taken a court order to get him to take the test!

What happens next has reporters poised in Hollywood ready to leap. If Murphy doesn't stand by his daughter - as he has previously claimed if the test came back positive - the bad press could be devastating for a career already looking to be on the skids.

Congrats Mel. You've been dignified throughout at the very least. Now Eddie, get your game together!!!

Meantime the Spice Girls are planning a reunion... is this necessary?!
