Remember that list of four movies I said were September's must see? Well it turns out I oversold Nicole Kidman / Daniel Craig sci-fi action vehicle The Invasion! Official word filtering out of the US is that it's opening weekend box-office won't even crack ten million! Apparantly the whole thing is a formulaic mess that ends up being deadly dull.

Nicole Kidman's performance has critics divided. Either you love it or you hate it. One critic claims she saves the movie, another calls it "self-obsessed"! Ouch! But then again the only thing worse than people talking about you is people not talking about you. Co-star Daniel Craig is so forgettable he barely even warrants a mention!
No wonder he's had a no-nudity/skin-limiting clause put into his James Bond contract! ... But then is that necessarily a good idea?!
Eitherway it's a shame. This film could have been something else. It's seems that the opening week hit of September will be Disney-Pixar movie Ratatouille.
Well, check the trailer and that's really no shock!
