Uma Thurman's stalker sentenced
June 3rd 2008 02:31
Former mental patient Jack Jordan has been sentenced to three years probation for the stalking and harassment of Hollywood actress Uma Thurman.
He will serve the probation in his home state of Maryland, with the condition that he receives outpatient psychiatric treatment. State Supreme Court Justice Gregory Carro also imposed a five-year order of protection. If Jordan violates any of the court's terms, the judge says he'll be jailed.
Jordan apologised in court for his actions - specifically, having subjected the Pulp Fiction star to a barrage of frightening advances. Thurman was not present at the hearing.
