The Simpson Movie set to soar!!!

The Simpsons Movie
"We own the box-office!"
Positive word is coming out of Hollywood suggesting that The Simpson Movie is set to do some serious box-office trade over the next few weeks. Word of mouth buzz and the weighty reputation the sitcom carries around the globe has already seen the box-office swell, and on its first Friday it took in more than US$20 million accross the States and more again around the globe!

Professional estimates of its overall weekend receipts have it placed anywhere between US$60 and US$80 million. Not bad for a movie that has had people discussing just how lame the recent seasons of the TV show have been!
If you HAVE NOT seen The Simpsons Movie yet, I will not spoil it by posting a review - just some advice: GO SEE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !
The Simpsons Movie

The reviews are in and according to even the most negative reports, the movie covers no new ground and sticks closely within the standard Simpsons formula. However - those same reviews freely (one could almost say gladly!) admit that when the movie is inspired it IS INSPIRED!!!!

The humour is a mile a minute. It's nothing they haven't done before - but they've never done it better. I'm going to stop now as I feel a review coming forth. Just go see it. It won't let you down.
