They've been friends, workmates and fellow superstars for more than ten years. Now, as the filming of the final Harry Potter movie comes to a close, the young actors are finding the emotional aspects of the end of their journey to be quite overwhelming! "I feel like someone is dying," said Emma Watson, 20, who was just nine years old when she was cast in the role of Hermione Granger. "This kind of love and recognition is just incredible. It is also really emotional for me. I am proud," said the actress.
Harry Potter producer David Heyman told the media that the cast and crew are currently shooting the final scenes of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows in London. This last movie will be split into two parts, with the first due for release in November this year, and the final installment hitting cinemas in July 2011.
"We will finish in two weeks' time," Heyman said. "It is a very strange feeling. We have been 10 years together."
As for the man playing Harry, Daniel Radcliffe spoke of how connected the Harry Potter movies were to his life, and the difficulties he will have in moving on. "I will be devastated [when it's over]," said Radcliffe earlier this week.
"There is nothing I watch without it triggering a series of memories. Everything [about the films] is so linked to my life. At the same time, it is exciting. It is the end."
