More Sex and the City!

People magazine has confirmed that there will be a sequel to last year's hugely successful Sex and the City movie. All four stars of the SATC franchise - Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis - are on board, despite initial concerns that Cattrall would not be joining them.
Instead, Cattrall is excited to be back in Samantha's Jimmy Choos. "The fans keep saying, 'Yes, one more,'" Cattrall said three months ago. "The movie was so much fun to do and be part of again. I hope we're going to do it again." It seems she is getting her wish.
The film's writer-director, Michael Patrick King, isn't giving away many secrets but expects the sequel will be somewhat less dramatic than the first film (no-one getting left at the altar this time!) and is looking forward to continuing the SATC journey. "I'm very excited to work with these amazing actresses again," he said, "and would love to give everyone more information about the sequel… but I'm busy with my Sex life."
Filming for the second movie will commence later this year and is due in cinemas in mid-2010.
