Scarlett Johansson and Ryan Reynolds marry

Hollywood beauty Scarlett Johansson has wed Ryan Reynolds in a private ceremony in Canada. According to reports it was a quiet affair in a remote wilderness retreat, attended only by close friends and family.

Johansson, 23, began dating Reynolds, 31, shortly after his split from rocker Alanis Morissette, who has passed on her best wishes to the newlyweds.


Johansson had previously been ambivalent about a wedding, saying in August "We're just enjoying our time. I mean, I'm 23. There's no reason to rush into it. Everything feels very natural and relaxed."

Seems she did a little rushing after all...
