Rambo's back! ...again

Sylvester Stallone will be returning to the big screen as John Rambo for a fifth time, having signed a deal to star in and direct Rambo V. In this film, Rambo will be battling human traffickers on the USA/Mexico border, and coming to the rescue of a young girl who gets abducted.
The project has been given the go-ahead based upon the considerable box office success of its predecessor, simply titled Rambo, which was released in 2008 - twenty years after the third installment Rambo III. The first two movies were released in 1982 and 1985.
Now, I'm the first to admit that I don't particularly like action films, so it was with some trepidation that I agreed to watch the first Rambo film, First Blood (I'd made my boyfriend watch so many chick flicks that it was only fair). Anyway, I was amazed by how compelling the story was; there is so much unexpected depth to the character of John Rambo, and the film as a whole. As such I was able to stomach the violence, and am looking forward to seeing the rest of the series when I get the chance. Rambo is certainly not your typical action hero!
Stallone has been quoted as saying that the fifth movie "will be quite different," and that "we'll do something a little darker and a little more unexpected." Production is set to begin in early 2010.
