Miley Cyrus hooks up with Aussie actor
August 22nd 2009 00:49
16-year-old superstar Miley Cyrus was seen openly making out with Australian actor Liam Hemsworth at the Nashville Airport, confirming rumours that the pair are more than just friends. According to actor Alex Emanuel, who was standing just a few feet away, Miley "jumped into [Liam's] arms and threw her arms around his neck and kissed him and leaned back and he was dipping her. It was like a scene out of an old movie where the guy's getting on a train and they're saying their goodbyes," Emanuel continued.
Liam, 18, is best known for his role as Josh Taylor on Aussie soap Neighbours, and for being the brother of up-and-coming Hollywood star Chris Hemsworth. He and Cyrus had been filming the love story The Last Song together - where Liam plays her love interest - and they attended the film's wrap party together last week, further sparking rumours that the two were an item.
Despite this rather obvious display, Cyrus has maintained her single status on Twitter... but has revealed that the two are already enjoying quiet nights in front of the TV. Her August 14th Tweet: "I kinda want to go see 'The Time Traveler's Wife' but I think I'll just sit around and eat sushi and watch "Liar Liar" with Liam
"
Her publicist is yet to comment.
