Lindsay Lohan sued... by her own car passengers!
October 22nd 2008 01:56
In what her lawyer describes as an "absurd" case, Hollywood star Lindsay Lohan is being sued by three men who were passengers in a car chase with her that led to her second DUI arrest last year. Apparently the men felt "surprise, shock, fear and panic" while in the car with the intoxicated actress behind the wheel, and for that reason are seeking "unspecified damages" from the actress to help them deal with the shock of it all.
To me it seems like these men are just money-hungry, and possibly fame-seeking idiots who are trying to milk Miss Lohan for all she's worth. She made a big mistake in driving her car that night, but I feel bad for her that her passengers are taking advantage of her now. According to her lawyer, "These guys had the night of their lives, playing with the radio and leaving the vehicle at one point and getting back in."
They, however, describe the night very differently: the lawsuit claims that Lindsay threatened their lives by leading them on a wild and traumatic chase, and when they asked her to stop she used vulgar language and said that because she was a celebrity, she could do whatever she wants.
There's always two sides to every scandalous story. What are your thoughts?
