'The Bride will fight again!'

Quentin Tarantino has announced his plans to make a third Kill Bill movie within the next few years. Appearing on an Italian talk show, the master filmmaker said that a 10-year break between Kill Bill Vol.2 and Kill Bill Vol.3 would be ideal, to allow Uma Thurman's character to "have a break" after all that she's been through... but that, when the time is right, "The Bride will fight again!"
While of course the film is still on the drawing board, it would be natural to assume that the third movie would revolve around Vernita Green's daughter, Nikki, coming of age and avenging her mother's death. There was certainly a strong opening left for such a storyline with Thurman's character saying to the (then) little girl, "It was not my intention to do this in front of you. For that, I'm sorry. But you can take my word for it, your mother had it coming. When you grow up, if you still feel raw about it, I'll be waiting."
With Kill Bill Vol.2 having been released in 2004, the ten-year gap would suggest a 2014 release date. So it's a long way off for now, but I suspect that this is one film that Tarantino fans won't mind waiting for.

Film & TV on DVD
I liked the Kill Bill saga as much as the next guy but it would be cooler if he continued to traverse a few more genres or maybe revisit the work of Elmore Leonard and Dashiel Hammett....a film noir would be nice.
