Is this the face of a 47 year old?
April 12th 2010 02:23
Demi Moore insists that, while she has "had something done" (that's Hollywood-speak for cosmetic surgery), it's not on her face. Apparently the actress's line-free complexion is entirely due to good luck, good genes and a good health and fitness regime. But as a 27-year-old, I must admit that I find it difficult to look into the face of a woman 20 years my senior and see that she has fewer lines on her forehead than I do! Is it possible that Demi's face is, in fact, all natural? Or has she been running us up the garden path this whole time?
The mother of three, and wife of fellow actor Ashton Kutcher, hasn't been in a major film since 2007's Mr Brooks but still manages to remain in the Hollywood spotlight through her continual Tweeting, and of course, her enviably youthful good looks. She's appearing in an upcoming issue of Elle magazine where she blasts the people who insist she must have had cosmetic surgery done.
"I have had something done but it’s not on my face," she told the magazine. "[The surgery speculation] feels like schoolyard name-calling a lot of the time. It hurts. You know what? Maybe one day I’ll go under the knife. It just irritates me that people are constantly saying how much I’ve spent on plastic surgery."
To add to her age-defiance, Moore has also expressed a desire to have a baby with Kutcher, who, at 32, is fifteen years younger than his wife. "We talk about it and it's something that we would like," she continued in her interview with Elle. "He's an amazing father to my daughters already, so I have no doubt that if it's in our future, it would be another incredible part of our journey together."
I don't know about you, but I really think there's something that Demi's not telling us. There are plenty of women out there who can still conceive in their late forties, but the vast majority of them would not be looking like they've just hit 30! Either this woman is telling us some major furphies, or else she's discovered a fountain of youth that was lying dormant in her backyard. I know which option I find more believable... what about you?

She could go out and buy a baby for Ashton if she wanted to couldn't she.
I'll say this - I've worked on set with plenty of these people as an actor - which is what I did for many years - sans an education - and they look quite normal in 'real life' but when you see them in magazines - they look quite unreal - quite over the top airbrushed - once it was only the women - but these days it's everyone - then - every so often you get a string of photographs that have not been worked on - on the pages of Who Weekly - with a headline saying 'How they look without their make-up' - those are the photos that really show how real they are looking.
Take another look at Charlies Angels Full Throttle - she looks every inch a 40 year old in that - wrinkles and all - so I'd be pointing the finger at the magazines - not the stars particularly..

The problem with this photo, though, is that it's not airbrushed. She's at an event here (last week's premiere of The Joneses) so yes there's bright lights and a ton of makeup, but no airbrushing.
So I'd say you're right about the collagen, or perhaps it IS botox and she's one of those people who doesn't consider botox to be cosmetic surgery... which technically it isn't; it's an injection.
Yeah I'd rather not have to take another look at the Charlie's Angels sequel... once was enough for me!

I have noticed that celebrities do not seem to classify botox as "work".
Just look at Megan Fox or Nicole Kidman for other foreheads that do not move.

So it's all spin and more spin.. and we get to see less and less real looking people eventually - ah well - I think character in a face is a great thing. And yes "Full Throttle" should have probably been given just that, somewhere just below the jaw.

She probably also have the time and money to spend on personal training sessions, plastic surgeons and spend all day doing her make-up as you all have mentioned.
