Celebrities who take plastic surgery to extremes

While many of Hollywood's elite and not-so-elite have succumbed to plastic surgery, there are some celebrities who seem to have an obsession with improving themselves. Looking your age is a sin, it seems, and celebs will go to great lengths to look as young as possible. Sometimes (as these pictures show) this backfires, and the celeb in question looks more freak show than foxy.
Priscilla looks to have had various procedures over the years, which has left her with a wide-eyed look and utterly smooth skin (in photos with her daughter Lisa-Marie, the two could pass for sisters). She looks young, to be sure, but a little freaky as well.
Victoria "Posh Spice" Beckham is another notorious surgery-lover, having had breast implants and various facial procedures done (including a very obvious nose job). As she begins to age, the skin on her body starts to sag and she needs to undergo more surgery to correct it - a downward spiral.
Ashlee's only in her twenties but already has undergone numerous procedures, including a nose job and a chin reduction. The more surgery she gets, the more she resembles her older sister Jessica.
Melanie is renowned for her plastic surgery, most notably for botox and collagen injections in her lips. As this photo shows, she is just beginning to look her age.
What plastic surgery article would be complete without reference to Wacko Jacko? Certainly not this one. Michael's face appears to be coming apart, due to the numerous procedures he's had over the years. Who knows how far he'll go to stay looking young (and white)?
When Tara Reid made a boob of herself on the red carpet, she showed off a nipple that had been ravaged by plastic surgery. She's also rumoured to have had liposuction on her stomach and thighs, though remarkably has left her pretty face alone.
The sagging skin on Courtney's stomach is a dead giveaway of liposuction. She's also had plenty of work done on her face, including a nose job and several facelifts.
As these photos show, not all plastic surgery goes to plan, and sometimes it can be a complete nightmare. If you are going to have surgery done, research it thoroughly beforehand, and choose a reputable surgeon. Remember, we're not meant to look young forever - if the option is looking old or looking like a freak show, then I'll take the old every time!
