Having kept a low profile since the death of her former husband Heath Ledger, Michelle Williams hit the red carpet in style to promote her two new films, Wendy and Lucy and Synecdoche, New York. Looking radiant in a vintage lace dress, the star was happy to pose for photographs as she enjoyed the ambience of the Cannes Film Festival.
A rep for Wendy and Lucy told People: "It was decided on Monday night that she could come to Cannes, and she got on the next plane to arrive just in time to get dressed and come to our premiere."
Williams will remain in Cannes for the premiere of Synecdoche, New York (scheduled for tonight) before flying back to the United States to resume filming a Martin Scorsese movie in Boston.
