The belleagured singer needs help - real help
The press has been there at every turn to catch it all in glorious technicolour. From her shaved head, to her rehab admittance to her trawling up and down in L.A. trying to find papparazzi to photograph her, to her recent scandalous interview with OK magazine, to serving her mother with papers to keep her away with her children - it just hasn't stopped.
Now the eye of attention is on her children.
Britney's two kids are both barely out of diapers, and with such an apparant nut for a mother everyone has been screaming about the wellfare of her children - and even demanding that they be removed from her custody.
Rewmember twelve months ago? This was the man the entire world despised as the bastard who was exploiting a celebrity marriage for the sake of his own waning music career!!!
How times have changed.
The basic fact is that we do not know whether Britney is a good mother. The basic fact is that the same people who are now so busy "caring" about her children, are likely doing so because they know damn well if the singer lost them she'd most likely crack up again and it sells well with us - the public.
While Britney is out there becoming the Norma Desmond of the 21st century - though at least Norma had a little more class to her name - just who exactly is helping her? Who is giving out her side of the situation? Who is helping her deal with these issues that she surely must possess to be behaving so erratically?
The answer is no one. Brit's mother, who exploited her singing and dancing talent throughout her childhood, has been pushed away, along with most of the rest of the Spears clan. That leaves Britney surrounded by an entourage - who get pretty much everything through the generosity of the star - the erratic star.
Don't take Britney's kids away from her until you no for sure she is getting all the help she needs - give her help. Don't take away the last sane element of her life.
