Anne Hathaway might just be a FOX!
June 14th 2007 05:01
Though she grew up being Disney's 21st century Barbra Streisand - the gawky teenage girl makes good ingenue that no one else could match - Anne Hathaway has spent the last few years attempting to find that particular essence of self that for movie stars can only come with their own unique "do"!
Finally she's got one. Just check this cover of July's Haper's Bazaar magazine! Anne Hathaway has finally completed the transition from funny girl to foxy lady!
Seen earlier this year on our movie screens in the period drama Becoming Jane she is already getting Oscar buzz for her brilliant performance - though whether it can sustain until January next year is questionable.
She has two pictures of note due for 2008 releases, including Passengers, the story of a grief counsellor dealing with trauma victims who have survived a plane crash in which she will co-star alongside Patrick Wilson and dual Oscar winner Dianne Wiest.
More notably she is set to play Agent 99 in the eagerly anticipated though nerve racking movie remake of the hit TV show Get Smart. While naysayers are to be found by the score with Steve Carrel (of Little Miss Sunshine fame) as the title character Maxwell Smart, Alan Arkin as the Chief of Control and Terence Stamp as the Head of Kaos, Siegfried, if nothing else it should be one bad-ass hoot!
In the meantime it's good to see Anne get her groove on and thanks once again to PerezHilton.com for use of the pretty pictures!
