And I Am Telling You I'm NOT going!!!

Whitney Houston, the voice of the 1980's, who amassed a huge cult following and a stable of very impressive number one hits, has been off the charts for some time now. However, there seems to be something of a chance that Whitney AND her voice might be in for a comeback.
Though in recent years Whitney has been plagued with reports of drug and alcohol addiction - accompanied with several embarassing pictures, she seems to have gotten her act pulled neatly together. Stepping out in public she is her former radiant self - an impressive achievement considering just how badly her addiction problems had affected her in the past.
More importantly, however, it seems that the voice is recovering too from deacdes of tar and noctine - after all who in Hollywood did NOT smoke pre-1990's?!?!
She recently performed at a concert in Nashville Tennessee and displayed a still lustrous, powerful and dilligently trained voice. Nothing like her glory days when "I Have Nothing" used to reverberate up the charts, but hopefully a promising sign of what is to come.
With hard work and dedication we could be seeing a new album (not a greatest hits revival thank you very much!!!) from the celebrated artist as early as next year.
It's a positive sign that this great singer has still got it in her for a comeback. Hopefully younger, messed up artists are watching and taking careful note. They would do well to follow the example of this great lady of soul.
You go Whitney! I may hate most of your music - but with a voice like THAT! - we're all rooting for you!!!
